  I went to St. Peter's for 3 years and it was the best parish experience I've had since my conversion 15 years ago. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Fr. Byrne and his Vicar, Fr. Riffle, the parish has doubled in size over the last few years. This is a vibrant and thriving parish where people of all ages and social status can worship together. Their motto is to be a tangible manifestation of Christ in the community, and through their many ministries and outreach programs, they have become just that. Finally, the music program under Dr. Kevin O'Brien is second to none . If you are looking for a church home that will challenge and inspire you, look no further than St. Peter's.

  Beautiful church. Walking from union station to the church is totally walkable and highlights some great scenery of the Capitol.

  Google maps ST Peters Catholic Church at the wrong location. The map actually places you at St Josephs Catholic Church. The two churches have nearly identical addresses: St Joseph's is at 313 2nd St NE, 20002, while St Peters is
  at 313 2nd St SE, 20003. They are far apart.
  
  The telephone receptionist at St Peters was absolutely great: she was patient, kind, and humorous, upon which I place my 5 star rating.
